Aya Aziz made a striking debut into New York City’s theater scene during the 2016 New York Musical Festival. For her solo musical, “Eh Dah? Questions for My Father,” Aziz won both Outstanding Individual Performance and Outstanding Book. She’s now adapting the musical for an Off-Broadway run starting in 2019, and combining music and acting to advance issues of social justice.
Americans are bitterly divided over many policies of the new Trump administration, but one issue where divisiveness is nothing new is abortion. In one New Jersey town, a conflict has long simmered at a local abortion clinic — but not for the reason you might think. Neighbors are fed up with the noise level of weekly protests.
